Eligibility
The Maurizio Chiriva Internati STEM Scholarship is intentionally designed to be accessible to a wide range of STEM students. To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Enrollment: Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States. This includes all accredited U.S. institutions, whether they are community colleges, four-year colleges, or universities.
- Student Status: Both undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply. The scholarship is open to students at any level of higher education, as long as they are pursuing a degree.
- Field of Study: Applicants should be pursuing a major or degree in a STEM field – Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics. (This broad category can include disciplines from biology, chemistry, and physics to computer science, engineering disciplines, mathematics, and related fields.)
- Academic or Financial Standing: There are no minimum GPA requirements and no proof of financial need required to apply. The scholarship committee believes every passionate STEM student deserves a chance at this opportunity, so students in good standing at their institution may apply regardless of their grade point average or economic background.
- Citizenship: (No specific citizenship or residency requirement is stated beyond U.S. college enrollment. International students enrolled in U.S. institutions are typically eligible, but applicants should verify any such restrictions if applicable.)
